About me

I am a qualified Sound Engineer and have been involved in professional radio as a Production Manager and a Presenter for the last 4 years. I believe my production experience would stand me in good stead for the post advertised.

During my time as Production Manager I have scripted, edited, recorded, mixed and mastered everything from podcasts and voiceovers to radio spots and unplugged sets with Seether and K's Choice. I am confident on PC or Mac, across many systems including Pro Tools, CuBase, Adobe Audition and Logic. I am also familiar with digital mixing desks and studio equipment.

I have selected, trained and managed a team of producers, as well as being part of management decision-making, budgeting, strategy etc. My position also involved liaising face-to-face with clients, writing briefs and leading team-oriented ideas and brainstorming sessions. My earliest work experience was in the field of digital video and design.

In 2004 my station honoured me with Producer of the Year, followed in 2005 with Person of the Year for my overall work, social and team commitment.
