About me

I'm a BA Honours graduate of 'Professional Photographic Imaging' (first class) and work as a freelance digital photographic illustrator and retoucher. I use many image components captured on location and in photographic studio environments, which are digitally manipulated utilising the many tools within Adobe Photoshop. I am looking for a career within the creative industry, more specifically digital illustration, image retouching and photography. I have knowledge of different digital photographic equipment and technology, as well as an understanding of post production (colour management), professional retouching and professional practice within the industry. During the last 3 years at university and whilst taking on freelance photographic jobs, I have been conditioned to meet strict deadlines meeting briefs efficiently. Within university I have enhanced my team skills by contributing ideas and carrying out work with others on collaboration projects. I can listen to others and give constructive criticism, support and feedback to help meet the desired result. I am a confident and reliable individual who can use initiative to solve problems and get the job done. I found that freelance jobs and university briefs have taught me to be reliant on myself and to work efficiently and accurately under time pressures.
