About me

Currently I am employed at a large four colour printers near Manchester City Centre as a Mac Operator/Artworker.

In my short time there I have rapidly gained important skills and knowledge of all

aspects of Design and Print. I have produced design briefs for many large-scale companies. This includes a wide range of products for Manchester City Football Club including brochures, CD inlays, posters and car park hangars to name a few. Other products I have produced include a 32-page souvenir brochure

for an exclusive travel company that was given to customers on their Trans-Siberian Train Journey Tour.

I have also contributed to the design and print of Wrexham FC match day programme, which won the award for best design in the division this year.

I am also responsible for setting designed work to print, which involves me having an extensive knowledge of printing procedures. This aspect of the job has given me a great all round understanding of how design work should be created and set in the correct format to print. I also have a broad knowledge of imposition and creative printing techniques included matt lamination and block foiling. This has given me the skills and ability to pay great attention to detail.
