About me
Rizwan graduated in 2007 with a BSc Hons in Multimedia Technology & Design from Brunel University. He then went on to work as a Youth Engagement Lead & Head of Marketing at the award winning national charity Muslim Youth Helpline. In Sep 2009 Rizwan moved onto becoming a Participation Worker at Islington Council Children Services department, working on a groundbreaking borough-wide project Young Muslim Voices. Rizwan work comprises of to facilitate the empowerment and engagement of young Muslims via civic participation campaigns, as well as helping to shape and influence the policies that may affect them. Rizwan also created the first of its kind in Islington sub project: Young Refugee Voices which delved into the experiences, stories and traumas young refugees and asylum seekers have faced in their lives, using art methods to express themselves. Rizwan launched his graphic design company in July 2010; RH Studios and is currently working on a personable project Jawaab which aims to raise local and national awareness of the key social and political issues facing British Pakistani youth today, which will be officially launched in Sep 2011.
