About me
An independent curator originally from Sardinia, living in London since 2004.
Alongside her career in adult education and professional training, Rita has fulfilled her lifetime dream of gaining a BA Hons degree in History of Art (Birkbeck University, London), focusing on Italian Renaissance and Baroque period and then completed a Master in Arts Management (London Southbank University).
She is an enthusiastic supporter and Operations Manager of ArtCan organisation and an active advocate in fostering collaborations and new opportunities for artists and cultural events.
Rita's own project Island2Island Art focuses on cross-cultural collaborations amongst artists working and living in islands, and in particular artists from her home country Sardinia and United Kingdom.
