About me

I had my own design company in Japan before I came to the UK. I have extensive experience as a graphic/web designer and her works include brand designing for an English organic products company and assisting several Japanese companies to enter the UK market. I learned business strategies and marketing skills through her experience of having been involved in many big projects including hospitality planning and making a proposal for the Tokyo Olympic's panel discussion and assisting in setting up a think tank for international affairs in Asia. I worked for a global company as a PR & marketing executive before she founded Pointblank Promotions Ltd.

Pointblank promotes Japanese culture and proposes new and exciting projects by collaborating with Japanese and English companies, performers and artists.

Skills

I have strong design skills and familiarity with the principles of graphic and web design., Computer skill I have :, strong knowledge and proven experience with theAdobe CS5 applications Illustrator, Photoshop and Dreamweaver., intermediate knowledge of Adobe CS5 applications InDesign, Acrobat, Flash and Fireworks, strong HTML skills, good understanding of CSS., I have been primarily using Mac for my design work for more than 15 years. I have also been used Windows for web design and graphics over that period. I can also learn any new program in a short time if necessary - I love to acquire new skills.

1. September 2011 - Present : Freelance graphic and web designer., 2. Full-time Work September 2004 - March 2006: Nichiei Ltd ( UK), I was working as web designer for the web shop in this company., 3. Full-time Work February 2003 - July 2004: AD&DECO.,LABO (organizer), I was a partner in the above firm, with responsibilities for marketing, office organisation,staffing and client liaison. A number of clients were exclusively mine, and I was responsible for their projects from inception to completion., 4. Full-time Work April 1998 - 2002: SEKI Corporation, Ehime and Tokyo, My position in this company was that of Senior Graphic Designer. During this period, I was responsible for the management of a team of up to 3 juniors.
