About me

I am a 27 year old woman who lives and breathes fashion and design.

I have worked for several years as a fashion editor and stylist at two of South Africa's biggest selling glossies; Cosmopolitan and O, The Oprah Magazine. After learning what I could about the industry, I decided to stretch my wings and fly into the freelance arena, which suited me just fine as I was given creative carte blanche and could really push the limits of my own creative imagination. My life path eventually took me to the place I'd always dreamed of going, Italy, to study footwear design...Now that I have arrived, i am ready to take on whatever challenges the footwear industry can throw at me.

I am educated in Graphic Design, Fashion Design and Footwear Design, I believe that the marriage between these three design disciplines makes for out of the box thinking and a creative design-oriented approach to problem solving.

When I'm not dreaming about, and sketching shoes, I'm making patterns for them, when I am not doing that, I can be found devouring design magazines and websites and when I really need to power down, I can found horse riding or lazing at the beach.
