About me

I am a 23 year old designer based in London. I have been working for a design agency, Bluw Creative based in Covent Garden since October 2006 after graduating from the University of East London with a First in Graphic design. I began working as a design intern and have since been made Head of Design. This has proved to be a great test of my personal design ability, confidence, client and team management and also dealing with the pressures that come with working in a small team of designers and developers.

I believe my time at Bluw Creative has given me the challenges that were needed to develop myself as an all-round designer, being comfortable and effective in web, print and identity projects however my skills were needed.

My work has mainly been print and identity based working with many start-up companies, which has given me the chance to produce a lot of work based simply around helping businesses present themselves as credible, reliable and desirable. I very much enjoy working with a blank canvas and strive on producing something tailored perfectly for the client. These clients range from Hackford Jones PR, Classic FM, the British Comedy Awards, Taylor Herring, AT IT Productions and Forum UK.

Other than print based design I have worked closely with web developers working on creatives for many websites. I have recently entered an interactive competition held by the Wellcome collection with a Flash based piece based on the human memory. This work has been shortlisted.
