About me

My name is Richard Mitchell and I have worked as a full-time graphic designer for the last 25 years (since passing a Graphics BA Hons degree course). I am efficient, conscientious and hard working and always strive to produce quality design and print work. I fully understand the need to provide excellent customer service and meet tight deadlines, particularly in the current financial climate.

I regard myself as an all-rounder and have gained experience designing most types of printed materials including corporate stationery, brochures and exhibition panels. I have gained a comprehensive working knowledge of lithographic and digital print processes. In addition, I have produced illustration work for various printed publications and have built several basic corporate websites for print customers.

I wish to extend my design skills and abilities, particularly in creating more advanced and interactive websites, which are an increasingly important marketing tool.

At this stage in my career I am looking for a new challenge, to handle (on a regular basis) larger design jobs such as books and magazines and to gain greater experience in using the latest web design technology.

I recognise that employers are looking for a reliable and motivated individual who can work well under pressure and am confident that I fit that description.
