Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing in response to the job advertised on Creativepool.co.uk for the role of Digital Copywriter at FitFlop.

I was particularly drawn to this position for the opportunity to combine my creative linguistic streak with my keen grammatical eye across a variety of projects.

I believe I can be hugely successful in the role due to my writing skills, knowledge and experience.

Importantly, I am already a committed writer. I more than quadrupled the blog viewing figures for my current employer and I have a weekly column for a leading online football magazine.

I have my own travel-related blog, which I use to hone my writing skills, as well as build communities and increase page impressions through social media.

I have experience producing digital copy; creating content for marketing materials, email campaigns and updating social media channels.

My work experience at an events magazine involved writing event previews, condensing copy from press releases and building it up to be original and attention grabbing.

I have completed the NCTJ diploma in Multimedia Journalism, which shows an ability to adapt my writing style to any audience, and produce engaging copy, as well as an unrelenting need for grammatical accuracy.

Furthermore, I am educated to degree level, possess fast, accurate keyboard skills and have experience working under pressure to tight deadlines.
