About me
I am a hard working and enthusiastic individual with a passion for
3D and design. I graduated from Staffordshire University in summer 2009
with a 1st class Honors in 3D animation. I worked on projects including
short films and 3d visualisation creating characters, assets and
scenes. Within these projects I was involved in each part of the visual
pipeline, including initial asset production throught to rendering and
compositing.
I am a member of mensa and am good at thinking laterally to solve
problems. I am a fast learner and have picked up several progams during
my time at university and in my free time. My main profficiencies are
in Photoshop, 3Dsmax, Maya and After Effects and my strengths lie in
modelling but I can also texture, rig, animate and composite. I believe
these skills would easily cross over onto a new software package if
required. I have also had some experience working with several other
programs including Flash, Boujou, Final Cut Pro and Eyeon Fusion.
My goal is to work in a company which produces high quality work and
to continue learning from proffessionals around me. I take pride in my
work and am always striving to improve my skills and learn new
techniques.
I have had experience working in two studios; a 3D architectural
visualisation department at RMJM where I was modelling texturing and
lighting buildings and assets in 3Dsmax and Vray. The other was at
Triffic Films, a 2D television production company where I was
illustrating in Adobe Illustrastor and Photoshop. Here I also used Maya
and After effects for several projects. These internships taught me the
skills to juggle several projects and prioritise my workflow. It also
taught me how to work well in a team of proffessionals in order to get
jobs done effectively and to a high standard.
Please email me for recent work, and thankyou for reading.
