Dear Sir/ Madam

I would like to apply for the role of Multimedia Producer, as advertised on Creative Pool.

I started developing my skill set at Secondary School, picking up an interest in music recording and editing. This progressed to a degree from the University of Greenwich, in Entertainment Technology, where I learned various multimedia skills, alongside a personal interest. These included sound recording, camera loading and operation and editing.

From there, I started working with the Creative Service Group within Sony Computer Entertainment's London Studio. It was here where I put my skills to use, not only editing video, but also learning and working on a projects full life cycle. These projects ranged from small internal videos and print; to large 1st look trailers and photo shoots; to in-game art and music. Each project was unique and required pinpoint accuracy in development and delivery, with clients and staff based all over the world. I also learned a lot of project management skills, and working within a large company, with different procedures for each department.

Soon after, I went to Maverick Media, as a Production Assistant/ Junior Producer. I hit the ground running, helping to produce 3 European wide TV and Cinema campaigns within my first month. From there, I went on to produce a wide variety of projects including another 2 EU TV and cinema campaigns, interviews, still and video shoots and live action trailers, being involved in all stages from creative briefing and scripting, through to post production and final delivery. I was also entrusted with budgets and scheduling my own projects, sometimes for multimillion pound campaigns. This role was also very client facing, requiring levelheaded thinking and a confident approach to both problems and praise. During production, I would be the client's main point of contact; managing expectations, chasing for assets and feedback and relaying any required information.

I feel I would suit this role, as I already have a strong skill-set and have honed the fundamentals, I have worked with some of the best talent in the business, and have developed relationships with everyone from CEO's and senior staff, to interns and runners.

I am adept at Final Cut Pro and Adobe CS and have a working knowledge of high-end software such as 3DS Max, Smoke and Flame, among others. I have a keen personal interest in photography, film and advertising. I am comfortable in front or behind a camera and other equipment. I also like keeping up to date with technology and media, as well as doing tutorials and projects in my own time. I have experience with PC and Mac, and very computer literate.

I am available immediately, however, I am away from 4th-16th of Feb 2013.

I also have a full, clean, UK driving license and my own car, and I am willing to travel when and where necessary.
