About me
Please find attached my CV for consideration.
I am very keen upon entering the industry because of the creativity involved, the varied and challenging work, interesting project briefs, and specifically because it is an ambition of mine to work in the advertising industry.
You will see from my work experience, my professional career to date has been in Headhunting. I have decided to use my Masters as a springboard to a more creative career path. Having studied the brief, I believe that I have soft and hard skills necessary to fulfil the role.
My self motivation and ambition to continuously learn and improve has set me in good stead throughout my professional and academic career to date. I want to learn, improve, and I know that will excel in an environment that encourages learning and career progression. I am a specialised internet researcher and enjoy compiling information that provides insights to understand and improve client relationships.
I have had over 3 years of professional experience to date along with 4 years of further education.
I have had some previous academic experience of Advertising; which was working as project manager on the creative advertising strategy for the market entry of Titan Watches into the UK market. Our group coursework for a module in Advertising at University was perceived as being exceptionally good by the European Marketing Director of Titan Europe (time-piece manufacturing division of the Indian conglomerate Tata Group). He would have seriously considered suggesting the idea to H/O if he was not on a sole remit to sell components to the B2B market. So despite not having yet worked in the industry, I found managing a successful project very fulfilling, the work was very interesting, and had some good feedback from industry when putting advanced academic theory into practice.
I would welcome the opportunity to meet with you.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Best regards,
Richard Dobbs
