About me
For the last six months I have been working for a newspaper firm based in Nottingham called Pick Up Newspapers. This has been a great experience and learning curve for me as I had to quickly adapt to the fast pace and tight deadlines. The day-to-day duties included, all design concepts for new adverts to appear in the Nottingham issue of the paper, new layouts, general page designing for feature work, new concepts for the next edition of the newspaper, continued updates of events/listings that appear each week, research into fresh feature work, and assisting in the general layout of the publication.
I have an experienced background using Macs os x software but believe that I have a hands on style to my work. Thanks to my time at Pick Up Newspapers and project work outside of it, I have great deal of experience in dealing with a variety of projects and deadlines.
