About me
Before you venture any further forward, you may like to know I have over 4 years of in-house experience and agency experience, dealing first hand with the clients, printers, photographers, and turning around many last minute deadlines. During my time in my previous jobs, I have had to be Junior, Mid-weight, Senior and Creative director, sometimes all in the same day (minus pay grade)
I have been at in my current position as a Mid-weight Designer/ Creative Artworker for just over a year, working with POS, POP and in-store retail units.
Whilst in this position, I dealt with artwork for major cosmetic brands such as L'Oréal, Coty, Unilever, Estee Lauder, Superdrug and Wilkinson Sword, creating designs for in store POS, advertising, brand guides and setting up artworks for online adverts.
In addition to that, I also have 3 years experience working with packaging, creating labels and carton designs for High Street and Global brands, such as Clarks, Hunter Boots, Jack Wolfskin, Crocs, ECCO Shoes and M&S to name a few, producing and reworking designs for packaging, literature, product shots and POS.
I am more than competent in managing my workload when working on multiple briefs simultaneously, and work to very tight deadlines as already mentioned.
I am confident working with brand guidelines, whilst at the same time not afraid to break those guidelines if I see an opportunity to propose an improvement to a design either.
I have dealt first hand with label, packaging and leaflet printers, and I am proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. I have also had the opportunity of working closely with external photography studios in my career, in which I gained some experience in staging shoots, image requests and retouching images for print.
I have a huge desire to learn digital and 3D design in more detail and I am an exceptionally quick learner.
Finally, I am very versatile with a kettle.
