About me
I am a self motivated artist. I started out drawing in my early years of school. When I was younger it seems to be the main thing I enjoyed doing in my free time. In high school I studied art and design and concentrated on self portraits. I was the only person in my class to study it as there were options to do still life. After I got an A in my portfolio, I decided to leave high school and continue my studies in college. I completed my 3 years of 3D Computer animation, resulting in me obtaining my HND. During which time I had managed to develop my art skills as well as skills like photography, editing, videography, narrative, storyboards, 2D and 3D animation as well as modelling. I also exceeded my own expectations in the use of special and after effects which can be seen in my portfolio. At the end of my college studies I wasn't sure what I wanted to continue focusing on primarily. I decided to take a gap year and after which I will be following up on my studies going to university studying illustration because from all those years I knew that I loved to draw and create meaningful or even silly pieces of art that would be interesting to see. I started out drawing on paper with the idea of expressing my emotions and feelings. I then leaned more towards characters and now I am studying backgrounds. I aim to continue studying and learning new things to progress my skills further in every area that I studied in college. With my spare time I will be self teaching myself new skills and techniques whilst also concentrating on my art. I would really love to kickstart my career as an artist, as it helps motivate and keep the creativity flowing. I would love to be considered for any opportunities in the fields I mentioned above if not more. I love trying new things and constantly learning.
