About me
I am a trained Illustrator, pattern cutter and needle-worker. I have
a first class degree in Illustration with animation. I have other
projects that concentrate solely on those skills but thrive
predominantly when I amalgamate these skills in 3D work.
When making models, masks or costumes I utilise my design and
needlework skills. I have experience in puppet making. I also have
experience in making moulds with both clay and plaster. I use latex,
paint and inks, and then incorporate working with material into the
design. Many of my latest projects required movement for animation so I
have incorporated the use of flexible metals, which makes an
interesting juxtaposition against the luxurious qualities of fine
fabrics.
