About me
My name is Rebecca Webb and I am a Fashion Communication graduate with a creative aptitude and a keen eye for art direction. I have had various roles within fashion and retail over the past 3 years so I am accustomed to performing in deadline driven environments whilst working confidently under pressure. I am adept at carrying out a variety of design and development projects and can readily conceptualise new ideas as needed. Throughout my 3 years studying at University, I have developed a clear sense of style which has been directed and showcased through graphic influences which are shown consistently throughout my portfolio of work.
Since graduating university I have had several internships in which graphic design has been an important part of my role. As a Graphic Designer I was often required to execute engaging, high quality, innovative content and layouts across all brands whilst providing general, broad ranging graphic and visual support to each business as a whole. I also have a good knowledge of brand marketing and I have previously assisted with the day to day posting of social marketing lead content, as well as assisting with the overall strategy for the creation and implementation of social media content and campaigns. These campaigns would help promote brand-focused messages and generate sales.
Last year I was lucky enough to be involved with the 10th anniversary issue of IDOL magazine - 'FOREVER YOUNG'. I gained valuable experience working directly with the Editor-in-chief assisting with the promotion of brand-focused messages through social media outlets and layout design for the print publication. My collage designs are featured on the back cover and within the finished independent print issue, which explores the concept of eternal youth and timelessness through conversations with some of the outspoken young voices of our present generation.
