About me

I am currently at the University of Central Lancashire studying a BA(Hons) in Visual Merchandising and Promotional Design. I love to design and produce concepts for retail interiors and when I have graduated I would love a job in Visual Merchandising, designing window displays and in-store features. With the work experience I have undertaken and the skills I have developed throughout this course, it has made me see what this job will entail and has confirmed that this is the job I want for the future of my career.

I have experience with a range of different software programs including the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and In-Design), AutoCAD creating floor plans and elevations and Google SketchUp. This skill base and knowledge of the programs will enable me to quickly fall into a creative role and with the other skills I have learnt while studying have prepared me for this field of work.

I believe that I am a well organised, enthusiastic and personable individual who approaches life for the best outcome. I regard myself as a good team player but can also achieve individually on different projects and tasks given to me. In both of these situations I ensure tasks are completed to deadlines and of a high standard.
