About me
I'm a London-based freelance illustrator, animator, political cartoonist, and artist.
I've been in professional practice since 2009. I write and draw a weekly political cartoon for New Statesman magazine. I additionally regularly do the Guardian political cartoon, as well as frequent work for the BBC and Chatham House. I worked full-time at BuzzFeed from 2015 through 2018 as an in-house illustrator/designer/animator covering international editorial art, and have also worked in-house at the BBC throughout 2018 and 2019 in various departments including BBC Three, BBC Ideas, and BBC News as an illustrator, designer, and animator. I'm a nationally syndicated political cartoonist in the US with Universal uClick (Andrews McMeel), America's leading newspaper syndicate.
Selected freelance clients include: Amnesty International, Washington Post, BBC (including BBC News, Newsbeat, BBC Three, Radio 4, BBC Culture, BBC Ideas, BBC Sounds), Google, The Guardian, VICE, Imperial War Museum, Co-operatives UK, Gimlet Media, Politico, The Nib, Giphy, New Statesman, Index On Censorship, Human Rights Watch, Le Temps, Donmar Warehouse, Cambridge University, The Bureau for Investigative Journalism, First Draft News, Chatham House, Penguin Randomhouse, Fuel Theatre, L'Obs, Momentum, Chalk & Blade, various bands, and many others.
I'm always looking for new opportunities in illustration, cartooning, and animation - freelance, contract, permanent, or otherwise. Drop a line!
