About me
I have recently been working for Carlton Books as the Designer on their children's team and I have worked on fiction and non fiction titles. My role consisted of project management, sourcing and commissioning new illustrators for various projects and designing covers and layouts for a range of age groups. I am now working for them as a freelancer, which I am enjoying, however, I am looking for full time employment again and would love to be considered for your vacancy.
Before my time at Carlton, I worked for Igloo Books on the children's team and created a vast range of books from sticker and activity to novelty products.
I worked closely with the in-house editors on a daily basis, ensuring that our books were completed on time to to budget.
I am highly proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Acrobat, as well as having advanced drawing/scamping skills.
