About me
I am a writer and journalist graduate from the University of Sussex with an NCTJ accredited Journalism Masters achieving a Merit grade. I'm looking for a challenging, fulfilling and creative position. I have a strong work ethic; I enjoy learning and I thrive in a challenging environment.
My key skill is communication, my journalism training and experience in a publishing environment has given me confidence in conducting interviews for stories and features, sharpening my skills in listening, and sensing news. I have further developed my communication skills copywriting for the events company, as I accurately portrayed the events and promoted the company through social media.
I also have excellent technological skills; I'm confident using Premier Pro and Audition for video editing and Burli for producing radio bulletins. I have experience using cameras to film and producing news stories, as well as using recording devices for podcasts. I'm experienced in using WordPress and Wix and have proficient experience and knowledge using a wide range of social media platforms for promoting content and campaigns. I am able to write effectively for SEO and have a lot of experience with CMS databases and Microsoft office including Word and Excel.
