About me
Dear Sir/Madam,
It is with great enthusiasm that I submit my application for this Web Development position. I currently work as a Web Developer for Wyevale Garden Centres, where I work with a small team and we are currently building a new multichannel and fully responsive website.
Alongside working full-time I am currently studying for a foundation degree in Web Technologies at Birkbeck University (in the evenings), to improve my skillset. My degree covers HTML, CSS, programming with JavaScript, Java and PHP, as well as database design and development using MySQL. In my spare time I also do freelance web development to gain valuable experience working directly with a client.
I am incredibly passionate about building a career as a Web Developer, which is how I am able to stay dedicated to my studies as well as working full time. I thoroughly enjoy the challenges, and problem solving that development brings, and I also enjoy the creative side of Design. I know my diverse skills, passion, and studies will make me an asset to this role.
