Dear Sir/Madam,

I was excited to see an opening for a product copywriter, advertised on the on The Guardian careers website. I feel this position accurately relates to my skills and career ambitions.

As a graduate, I'm looking for a career-building opportunity in an environment where I can learn and flourish. I have experience within a copywriting environment - it was here in which my passion and enthusiasm for content writing emerged. Following this, I gained an understanding of both SEO and pay per click practices. I also developed an awareness of how quality and attention to detail is paramount in a profession where sloppiness ultimately loses clients and customers.

I am eager to continue my creative development within the role as a product copywriter as I am a keen writer and creative individual, with a good eye for detail. I'm flexible, quick to pick up skills and ready to learn from others. I also believe I have a lot of ideas and enthusiasm to bring to your company!

I see this as a fantastic chance to work within a communications team and I would be very grateful for the opportunity to progress within this copywriting role.
