About me

I am a creative, dynamic designer whose academic foundations lie mainly in design for print. I graduated from the University of Glamorgan in 2004 with a 2.1 BA hons. and have been working in-house for an outdoor sports equipment supplier in Cardiff ever since. I have a passion for logo development and strong layout, packaging and typographical skills. I am actively expanding my knowledge for new media and flash design. In my current role, I manage a large picture library and am responsible for the product photography. I have experience in creating catalogues and adverts that are printed in numerous national monthly publications. I design the companies packaging for not only the UK, but also for the European market, and more recently, I have worked on brand development for the US and New Zeland branches.

I have a strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, In design, Freehand, and I am competent in Quark and Flash. I am happy to work on both PC and Macintosh platforms. I am able to work on my own and as part of a team with a good eye for detail, and through working in an in-house environment, I have the ability to work to very tight deadlines and turn jobs around quickly without compromising on quality.

I would relish the opportunity to expand my portfolio either within an agency environment, freelance work or an in-house position.
