About me

Since graduating from a Film production course in 2010, I have been working as a freelance art director, illustrator and storyboard artist, as well as holding a part time job in a hotel. I have just completed the storyboard for the Liability which is to be released in October 2012, and am now working on a storyboard for a short film, which goes into production later this year. As an Illustrator I take commissions for Invitations, personal portraits, branding and Logos. I am also in the process of writing and illustrating two children's books.

I have worked in various roles within art departments from Production designer, art director, to runner. Within these projects I have proven to keep to strict deadlines, and contribute creatively and professionally as part of a team. As a production designer I gained the confidence to manage my own department and it gave me experience in allocating jobs. It also nurtured my ability to use my initiative under quite high pressure situations. As well as being intelligent and hardworking, I am very sociable and enjoy interacting with people. I have worked in many customer service roles, which have afforded me with experience in remaining friendly and helpful under pressure, in person and on the telephone.

As I currently have Reception experience I feel I would be able to adapt to this role efficiently and quickly. I am polite and personable and not afraid to get my hands dirty. Given the opportunity I am very hard working and strive for perfection in any task set to me.
