About me

I have extensive experience in nonlinear video editing, digital media, and quality control. I hold a Post Graduation degree in Mass Communication and a certification in Film Making. Over the course of 16 years, I have worked with TV channels, post-production houses, and media companies in India and abroad, specializing in post-production supervision, quality control, digital media, and high-level video editing skills.

Currently, I am employed as a Content Producer for Emerging Markets Intelligence & Research | EMIR, where I am responsible for managing EMIR's digital transition, overseeing all content and technical elements required to host 200+ regional CEOs and 1000+ delegates at physical, virtual, and hybrid events. This includes producing EMIR's leadership video podcast, which involves booking guests, scheduling interviews, and compiling questions and topics.

In my role, I am fully accountable for tracking and managing post-production schedules, with a keen focus on developing and executing best practices between the inflow of raw content and final delivery of assets.

In my previous roles, I have worked with Deluxe Entertainment Services Group in Doha, Qatar as a Video Editor/Ingest/Tape Operator for an archiving project for beIN sports, and with Premiere Digital Services as an Operations Engineer/Quality Control Technician in Bangalore, India. I am currently employed with beIN sports as a Highlight Specialist in Doha, Qatar since March 2017. My expertise includes assembling raw footage, selecting usable sequences, tweaking content, and utilizing specialized software to produce exceptional final products for various video productions, such as news, sports, concerts, commercials, and music videos.

Some highlights of my experience include:

Proficiency in working with the entire EVS range of products, including databases, remotes, XT servers, Clean Edit Stations, IP Director, etc.
Mastery in QC and file-based QC (3D, HD & SD) for trailers, features, and episodes for various Hollywood clients, international satellite service providers, IPTV, and streaming services.
Digitization of all tape-based assets into Media Asset Management systems, managing and transferring confirmed video files from Media Grid for quality check, and exporting/migrating files to centralized servers for further processing.
Video editing using Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere for television commercials, corporate audio-visuals, and scratch films, as well as quality checking during the digitization process. Collaborating with in-house teams of editors, librarians, and production staff to ensure timely completion of audio-visual projects.
