About me
Hello Creativepool Community,
Currently working as a General Manager of a multi-award winning digital creative agency in Shanghai, Chia. We cover everything digital from; social media management, copywriting, SEO/SEM, KOL & Influencers management, graphics design, website design & development right through to content creation. Serving a whole host and variety of clients from; hospitality, education, finance, F&B, wine & spirits and more.
However, my background is much more varied!
My longest being close to 7 years at a luxury brand consultancy, working on Integrated Marketing Campaigns - from proposal development right through to executing those ideas, will required some level of entrepreneurship spirit and attitude to just 'make-things-happen'.
As a former 'wannabe-creative' I obtained a distinction on an Art Foundation as one of promising Graphics Design talents and so this passion for arts and visual communications has always been a core personal motivation and dictates my decisions to always be involved in 'creative' work. Which I formally defined as 'visually-creative' work but as time progresses, I've come to understand that I enjoy troubleshooting for brands. I've also held other roles from; events, e-learning, entrepreneurship and production, working on creative content production projects.
My past education, experience and interest in all things 'brand communications' and more importantly, a strong capability to listen ensures that I'm able to quickly understand the essence of a brief and engage in higher-level key stakeholder conversations. It's also a key skill for my leadership role, important to ensure that each team member profits from their time with us at MDS as I seek to provide mentorship and inspire those less confident or whom may the lack experience.
As an avid music-lover and drummer, it has driven me to explore and enjoy music from all categories. Yet to others bemusement and judgement of my demeanor - I do hold a deep and dark appreciation for all things metal and hardcore punk - having conducted my final year thesis on "The Rise of Hardcore Punk in Hong Kong" and the pioneering bands back in the early 2000's.
