Portfolio at CV document
I am two things; an artist and an illustrator. As an artist, I provide a vision, a specific idiosyncratic voice, a purpose, I lead. As an illustrator I solve visual communication problems and respond to the specific needs of a given project, I follow.
I use two different pseudonyms. "Geladaa" does science fiction art for mature consumers while "Raul Dodgson" does art and illustration appropriate for audiences of all ages.
I have great confidence in my capacity to understand what a project needs, and I´ve developed my drawing technique around the idea of precision and adaptability. I want to be able to serve a vision, rather than develop a set "style".
I am interested in the act of BEING interested, finding interest, which means rejecting the idea that there is such a thing as a boring thing in the world. As an illustrator I really want to learn about what YOU find engaging and pertinent and adapt; beyond the thrill of the challenge, I see that as an opportunity to enrich my world.
Your opinion of the actual work of course is what matters at the end of the day, so please focus mainly on the pictures when judging my pertinence as a candidate for your project.
