About Ramandeep
Dear Hiring Team,
I hope you are well.
For the past 3 years I have built my design skill set, equipping me to be appropriate for this role. Skills I have adopted have included adobe suite softwares, such as InDesign, photoshop and illustrator. These skills have allowed me to develop my art working ability, which would be helpful when adjusting design narratives, across different design projects. Alternatively, my product design background had also progressed my physical model making skills, allowing me to better visualise both 2D And 3D outcomes, alongside using solidworks to spatially plan out the 3D design briefs, where my technical spec reading skills are used.
Additionally, my design skills have also complimented my hobbies. These include, attending degree shows showcasing my final major projects, "Knots". I also partake and self teach BSL ( British Sign Language) as it is a passion point within both my personal and design career. I also self teach the software Procreate, by sketching portraits of people, logos and animal designs both myself and other clients. Lastly, I art direct a social media page for a personal baking company, simultaneously complimenting my design skills within my career.
Coming from a product design background it only allows me to know about the product itself and the making behind it. However my aim is to approach design holistically and my first attempt at that was my FMP "Knots". This was where I had to consider all design fields to create a working sellable product, including the branding and advertising aspect of creating desirable market worthy merchandise.
Thank you
