An accomplished 2nd Line IT Technician.
(SC - Security Cleared) when working at the Bank of England.

Currently studying towards: - Administering Windows Server(R)

I have over 8 years of experience coupled with a Computing related HND and BSc (Hons) Degree.
My previous role was working for the Bank of England as a Senior Desktop Support Analyst where I supported approx 2000 Customers in the Head Office, my day-to-day tasks included troubleshooting and resolving Software, Hardware, Citrix and Blackberry incidents.

I was also involved with the banks largest project to date of migrating the FSA to the Bank of England, creating a new structure of PRA. I was also involved in assembling the equipment for the 1300 PRA Customers in the new site and training the customers in scheduled phases.

With Microsoft's latest announcement regarding "XP operating system will no longer be supported", the Bank of England has now begun the next phase of upgrading all Windows XP desktops in the Head Office to the Windows 7 platform with the "Desktop Replacement Project". I was involved in the initial stage of this project alongside my day to day BAU duties as a Senior Desktop Support Analyst, providing support to the Head Office, PRA and Agency Customers.

In addition to my extensive experience, I have also worked for N M Rothchilds Bank, Mizuho Bank LTD, Royal Bank of Canada, Sony Computer Entertainment, Walt Disney, Grosvenor, London Stock Exchange, Pearsons and Davenport Lyons. Having successfully supported these large organisations I have excellent knowledge with the exposure gained within Windows XP/7, Citrix, RA3 Access, Outlook/Lotus Notes, Document Management Systems and BES Server.

I would relish an opportunity within the Midlands, as this is where I am now based. I would utilise my knowledge and skills to improve the services for my potential employer.
