About me

Hi,

My name is Rahel Ali and I am currently in my third year studying ‘Media and Communications' at University of London - Goldsmiths College, (majoring in Film production). I am seeking a rewarding job opportunities that I can undertake during my studies. A work placement that would help me to further develop my skills, an opportunity to share my passion with others and allow me to make a valuable contribution with my skills and experiences.

Currently, I am receiving Firsts from my practice and theory works at university. I have previously attended Community College Shoreditch and achieved a Double Distinction (equivalent to two A grades) in Photography, grade A from A-level Film and a grade B from A-level Media.

Skills and Experiences:

I have established The F.64 Film and Photography Magazine online, and liase with various contributors to run it. I work freelance with a collective group of Photographers known as ‘The East London Photographers Ltd.'

I posses excellent interpersonal communication skills. My diverse background and enthusiasm for different cultures plays a vital role in my unique vision, as well as in my ability to communicate well through still and moving images. Internationally travelled and culturally sensitive, I am articulate and self-motivated. Able to work alone on my own initiative, I'm also a forth-coming team player.
