Born in Rio, raised around the world.

Rafael has lived in 5 countries, in 4 different continents. That list includes the USA, Germany, England and even China. After 13 years abroad, Rafa returns home as Associate Creative Director at JWT/Blue Hive in São Paulo and later joins the world renowned F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi. With a keen eye on the future of advertising and technology, Rafa makes the switch to R/GA SP as Creative Director.

His work has been featured on the cover of Archive and awarded by major international festivals such as Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, Clio, NY Festival, London Festival, CCSP, ADFEST, Spikes, amongst others. In 2009, at the age of 26, Rafael was ranked amongst the top 3 copywriters in the world and the No. 1 copywriter in China.

Rafael collects sneakers, tattoos and good stories.
