About me
When I was a kid, I founded a neighborhood investigative newspaper with a friend. The idea was to investigate and break major news, but life, and my boring neighbors, had other plans. I moved on to other things, day-dreaming about being an astronaut, doctor (both classics), scientist (kinda broad), physicist (less broad), magazine editor, anthropologist, copywriter in the 60s (highly improbable), indie movie director (pretentious teen fase), academic researcher. In the end, and for the utter disappointment of both of my parents, I landed on writing instead. Serves me pretty good — most of the time, I get to be a little of each, or at least talk to people who are. Except, maybe, the astronaut (if you happen to be one, let's chat).
For the past three years, I've been an editorial manager at Unbabel, The Startup(TM), managing our online publication Understanding with Unbabel, our video animation project with the same name, and co-hosting and producing our podcast, Customer Centric.
