Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to apply for the Art Directory vacancy advertised at Purple. As requested, I am attaching a complete resume with samples of my work.

The opportunity presented is very interesting, and I believe that my experience and education will make me a very competitive candidate for this position. Currently I am Fashion Art Director at multinational Publicis in London where I am in charge of ASDA's high street brand George. My role includes taking briefs and creating concepts from scratch, developing creative moodboards (photography, lighting, hair & make up, locations and prop styling). Organizing big and small productions in the UK and abroad, usually for large budgets. I regularly direct castings and contact creative agencies to source talent.

On a weekly basis I art direct photoshoots and overlook artwork to achieve a consistent use of photography, typography and design across different formats including online, in-store POS, above and below the line advertising including press, special events and general photography.

My regular duties also include marking-up proofs for colour correction at repro and approve final revisions, managing

a team of senior designers and organize meetings to brief and report to other members of the team.

The experience I've got in fashion goes from working on award-winning titles such as GQ, Men's Health, Cosmopolitan, Tattler and Marie Claire to the busiest weeklies, including More, You, Live, Look, Sunday Times Magazine or Fabulous.
