About me

I am a friendly, conscientious designer with 10 years commercial experience. I'm hard-working and self-motivated. I began my career in London where I was offered a junior position at a graphic design agency after completing a work placement . From there I went on to work at a publishing house designing a homes and interiors magazine. I then settled into a design role within a boutique agency where I was able to use my creativity more freely and stretch myself, working on various briefs from identity and branding to larger scale brochures and look books. I decided to go freelance in 2007 and secured an ongoing contract at Renaissance Graphics, a fashion focused agency in central London who's main clients are Jeff Banks and Matalan. I am now living in the North West and working at an agency focusing largely on fashion and direct mail. I am creatively driven not only at work but also in my spare time. Although amateur I have a passion for photography and dance.

Skills

Mac proficiency - an excellent working knowledge of QuarkXpress, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Client facing - on the phone and face to face Administration - Ability to work to deadlines, good organisational skills and client correspondence whether it be in written format, over the phone or face to face
