About me
I graduated in July 2019 with First Class Honours in Fashion Communications and Business Studies from University of Brighton. I specialized in digital graphics, video and sound with my Final Major Project based on the current and future social media climate looking to engage the Gen Z audience in a new way. My recent work is heavily based around experimentation within Cinema 4D and After Effects, however I am extremely keen to learn and expand my knowledge in multiple areas such as production, postproduction, events and social media and am keen to assist in any way that is needed.
I am so excited for the future of technology and interactive experiences, digital and print design and film and social media. There are so many possibilities and I would love to be part of the process in engaging people through these mediums. Since I am a recent university graduate, I am extremely keen to submerge myself in a creative environment and be able to work alongside other creative, inspirational people. I think that having a supportive team network and being able to share, advise and help push each other's ideas is really where a creative team flourishes. It would be very exciting to work alongside industry professionals and learn new skills but also be able to have a valued input.
I have an excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Premiere Pro and Cinema 4D. As part of my Degree Course we were required to obtain 6 months placement where I worked as a Fashion PR Intern at a PR & Communications agency, MAY Concepts. Throughout my internship, and other work experience, I have always proven to be self-motivated, hard-working, a team player and dedicated. I thoroughly enjoyed receiving briefs or tasks and working alongside my co-workers to efficiently produce the best outcome and later present to the whole team. During my placement I was able to show that I am highly organized, proactive and able to plan ahead in the best and most efficient way as well as manage various workloads and remain focused. I also enjoy researching into a brand identity and deciphering what their most effective visuals should be and the general aesthetic outcome of the project.
I have good animation and camera skills, am passionate about youth culture, music, film and fashion and enjoy researching and discovering interesting information on the future of our world from technologies to the environment to art. I have done freelance video, graphic design and poster work for various club nights and musical artists in Edinburgh and Brighton. I am a member of DIGI.GXL, an online global community of women and non-binary people who specialise in 3D and animation, headed by Catty Tay. I have been recently working with Aether Magazine to create social videos promoting the latest issue and was selected to create the Brighton University showreel to display at the Degree Show and at Graduate Fashion Week in London in June 2019.
I am available to start as soon as possible and if there are no current opportunities I would appreciate if you keep my CV on file for any upcoming vacancies.
