About me

I am a highly motivated and organised professional with five years experience as a high school teacher and several years experience in office administration. I am eager for an opportunity to expand my opportunities as a professional.

In my current role as a Design Technology and Art teacher at Guru Nanak Academy, I am accustomed to working in a high-pressure environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential. I have been responsible for coordinating multiple trips and events with sizes of up to 900 people, monitoring all of the day-to-day paper work and communication within my specialist department, and attending to all other administrative needs such as lesson planning, training new staff, liaising with special needs departments and perfecting communication skills through attending courses . This role requires a high degree of professionalism, maturity, loyalty, confidentiality and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. I pride myself on my ability to deal with pressure and multi-task with a positive and flexible attitude.
