I work in a team of 3, consisting of a Marketing Executive and Marketing Assistant, who all report directly to me. I was responsible for a range of tasks, which included:,  Website management,  Creating, scheduling and sending emails for a range of different genres and clients.,  Copy writing,  Creation of a monthly newsletter,  Management of clients, ensuring they receive the support and help required,  Segmentation of customer database to allow accurate targeting and marketing,  Assisting in the set-up of promotions and ticket offers,  Creation of promotional pages and splash pages,  Management of images and copy on the website,  Social network marketing for a range of shows via Twitter and Facebook, including development of social media strategies.,  Research into new digital marketing trends.,  Writing and working on second number proposals and negotiations, including the negotiation of inside commissions.,  Presentations and pitches to new clients.,  Creation of marketing plans for a range of different clients,  Development of a new type of competition to launch the Ticketmaster.co.uk YouTube channel., My role at Ticketmaster also consisted of the management of a client database to ensure we were providing each and every client with the help and support they needed., My role called for me to work closely with a number of Client Account Managers, which required me to be able to work efficiently and well within a team and individually., August 24th 2009 - 16th April 2010 West End Theatre Bookings, Employed as a marketing assistant, responsible for a range of tasks from website management to print management and finding new ways to provide advertising for clients. Within my position, I was also responsible for maintaining our affiliate program. Whilst at West End Theatre Bookings I worked within a team of 2 other people, giving me valuable experience of working independently yet still within a team. My role at West End Theatre Bookings involved a range of responsibilities including:,  Management and upkeep of three company Websites, including text and image content,  Image management and creation,  Sale and management of online advertising space generating £2,000 per month,  Production and design of monthly company Show Guide,  Securing advertisers for company literature generating £1,800 per month,  Production, design and content of the company’s monthly publication of Hot News,  Management of all headed paper, show leaflets, and posters,  Management of company affiliate program and acquiring new affiliates,  Email marketing, including producing a weekly email newsletter generating £10,000 per month, and selling and producing targeted emails generating £500 per email,  Segmentation of customer database to allow accurate marketing,  Development of new business and marketing campaigns,  Print production of flyers, posters and banners., July-September 2008 Garlock GB, Worked as a marketing assistant on a summer placement, solely responsible for the launch and all marketing initiatives of a new product within the petro-chem industry., During my time at Garlock I developed a new company website, firstly launched in the UK and then globally, and in addition to being in control of the design, production and content of a print campaign. Whilst fulfilling these tasks I produced:,  A company website detailing products, offering support with a live support section containing video footage of products, images and detailed information.,  A print campaign focusing on product adverts to be placed in trade publications, advertorials on the new product with expert accounts and reviews, design of a company publication/brochure detailing the products within the product range., I worked closely with the CEO of the UK based company and with the Sales and Marketing Manager, producing pitches and presentations monitoring the process of the company website and print campaign. This allowed my ability to present strong presentations under pressure to improve, whilst also improving my knowledge of the area I was working in. I also had to work with an independent marketing agency ensuring that work assigned to them was completed on time and correctly, improving my people skills and ability to deal with difficult situations and failure to meet deadlines.

About Rachel

Having worked as a Marketing Manager for the past 3 years, I am now looking to take the next step in my career and feel that this position would be ideal for me.

Over the past 3 years I have worked within the ticketing industry, managing a range of genres and numerous clients across the UK. Within this position I have been responsible for range of duties including:

 Budget Management

 Buying advertising space

 Online marketing management

 Social Media Marketing

 Management of affiliate/partner networks

 Creation of marketing schedules for both clients and the UK's two largest ticketing agencies

 B2B Marketing

 Design of new platforms - including development of discount platform

 Design and creation of HTML's and print guides

For my previous roles, it has been essential to demonstrate creativity and organisational skills whilst remaining analytical and detail driven whilst working on a number of different campaigns simultaneously.

I feel that this knowledge and experience, combined with my key understanding of fashion and luxury brands, and the discount market, will enable me to become a vital member of the team.
