About me

Dear to whom it may concern, I am looking for a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a creative team. Throughout my degree and professional career I have worked in commercially based businesses to sharpen my skills and gain experience relevant to the work required for this post, for example, designing and creating work.

My current role as a Sales Officer at Flints Hire and Supply requires me to manage the international orders, having the responsibility of the shipping's, picking and packing the products and communicating with the customers. My role also requires me to liaise with other members of the Sales team, Customer Service and the Buying department. I am very organised and able to learn new skills quickly to this exciting role.

I attach my CV but would like to draw your attention to the following experience acquired in recent years:

• IT Skills

Within Flints I use Word and Excel regularly and enter data in MS Access, I have been trained in both Vector and Exchequer programmes to organise the customer's product orders and information. I have experience in using Photoshop and InDesign programmes to design and edit the layout in catalogues, for e.g. I designed the section in the University's catalogue for my course. I designed and edited the leaflets, banners and typeface ready to advertise the degree show. I have experience using RhinoCAD software which is then interpreted by the CNC machine from Windsor Workshop ltd, to design and create 2D and 3D virtual models ready for manufacture. • Creativity I always have been a very creative person with the ambition to always do the best I can with great attention and the enthusiasm to always want to learn because I pick things up very quickly. During my studies and my spare time I am always drawing ideas and thinking how I can progress with them. I have good attention to detail, focusing on the commercial projects as well as working on writing up project briefs and description for the customer.

• Self Motivation

Self motivation comes naturally to me because I am always very enthusiastic towards projects that I work on. Alongside my current role I do freelance work in the prop making industry. I am always looking for new work and I do this by contacting businesses each week so I can work on different projects. I am always motivated to help out with finances, whether it is my own or the business and now I work with the businesses invoices. During university I budgeted for the marketing, advertisement and refreshments for the degree show.

On a personal note, I am enthusiastic, flexible, organised and creative, and able to work in a team environment as well as on my own initiative. My interests include sculpting, drawing, painting and I also enjoy watching theatre shows, socialising, and music.
