About me

I have recently worked as a designer part of a busy team in a small communications agency on a range of printed marketing, advertising and bespoke material. Alongside this I have a good knowledge of CS4 (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) on a Mac OS X platform and used Word, Excel and Powerpoint on a daily basis for copy writing, scheduling and presentations. In addition I do have basic Flash knowledge that I am currently developing.Having also had experience with copy writing, editing and proof reading I can happily throw myself at most challenges. In all my roles I have had to project manage my own time and juggle any number of projects at once - and enjoy the varied work and pace. I have also had to project manage as part of a group with communication being integral to the success of the project. Being an upbeat person and easy to get on with, I have always enjoyed good working relationships throughout my career so far, whether with colleagues, peers or suppliers.I have always worked taking projects from initial layout through to print ready artwork/PDFs, during which I have also gained a good understanding of the print process, including stocks and finishes and liaising with suppliers. Working for an agency has meant that I have had to work under pressure and to hone good time management skills as well as being highly organised.
