About me
My name is Rachael Watkins and I am a Junior Designer at Guide Dogs, where I also create work for their partner charity Blind Children UK. I graduated from the University of South Wales with a 2:1 in BA (Hons) Graphic Communications. I am looking to relocate back to my hometown of Milton Keynes.
I would like to be part of the graphic design that will push me further creatively. It is incredibly rewarding to see work I have created used and I aspire to see my designs available on a wider range of materials. In my current role, I work on multiple projects and liaise directly with the clients to ensure that the work I produce suits their needs. I have previously worked in various customer service roles where communication was key. These skills will be directly transferable. My current role is largely print based, but I also create imagery for web. I am keen to expand on the digital design skills I learned at university.
