About me

I am looking for a permanent job where I can put my excellent written and spoken communication to good use. I have editorial and proofreading experience, along with online and social media marketing. In my current role I am responsible for blogging, commissioning blogs, updating and maintaining our online presence daily. I am familiar with google analytics, and keep an on SEO to push our websites, blogs and social media to the best it can be. I liaise with our web developers weekly to oversee the development/changes to the websites. I also oversee the news and web articles, keeping to a high standard of written English and making sure it is web-appropriate copy. I use a CMS system daily. I am responsible for sending out weekly e-newsletters, and supervising colleagues on any e-newsletters being sent. I have excellent IT skills, am familiar with Quark and Photoshop, and have used previously used Indesign. As well as the online aspects to the job, I am Assistant Editor across three magazines, where I am involved in every process, from commissioning, writing, sub-editing, to laying-out.

I am looking to further my career in a more web-orientated environment, as this is where I excel and what I am passionate about. I am hoping to find a permanent role that I can grow into and put my enthusiasm and skills to good use.
