About me
I am a creative graphic designer with over 4 years experience in advertising and online solutions. My skill-set is creativity coupled with strong computing skills, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, XHTML and CSS. I can also hand code and build W3C compliant pages. Whenever I approach a new project I apply lateral thinking to researching users' needs, clients' time and financial budgets. I have a track record of user focused websites and brand led design. I have worked on a variety of projects- from high end advertising on a days' deadline, to developing user led web solutions. I have produced work for well known brands: Malmaison, Kyoto MoMA, The National Centre for Diversity, and a number of creative industry clients.
In general I have a big passion for creativity, and in particular user defined web solutions. I've been lucky enough to have work on some really interesting projects and meet people from different backgrounds and disciplines.
For some of my personal projects I've been able to present ideas that push the boundaries where art, design and photography meet, branching out into other areas such as the film, interviews and typography. Apart from making stuff, in my spare time I like meeting up with friends, cooking, travel and badly speaking Japanese!
