Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is Qadir Rahim and I have just finished my final year at De Montfort University studying Ba(Hons) Graphic Design. Using my time at University as an opportunity to experiment and try out different graphic projects both on print and digital, I have taken my basic skills and brought them up to an industry standard.

To help me progress with my graphic skills and knowledge, I have taken on a lot of freelance projects while being at University, mainly focusing on digital design in which I was designing but also coding websites in the correct CSS and HTML format. With this freelance background I was able to figure out how to prepare files correctly to an industry standard for programmers to bring to life and how to make a website look attractive and user friendly.

After winning a mobile app design competition I was awarded with a three-month internship at an award-winning digital design agency called Bulb Studios. The three months at Bulb was a very big opportunity for me as it allowed me to use my digital design skills and freelancing. I ended up working on some major client briefs such as Warner Brothers, Sony and Change4Life. At the internship I polished up on my turn around time on the projects and being able to complete projects in a short period of time under immense pressure.

I believe I am the best person for this job as I have everything you are looking for with a huge passion for design and success. I am always ready to take in new knowledge and skills and don't feel intimidated working with designers who are more experienced than me.
