About me

I have a Masters degree in 'Interactive Media' and have a Diploma in 'School Business Management-Level 4' and a Diploma in 'Teaching Assistant-Level 3'.

I have Masters in interactive multimedia and have 7 year's experience in an online editorial role in the electronic publishing sector I have a good understanding sub-editing and proofreading in terms of putting contacts into house Style or any other format that the company has decided upon I held responsibility for day-to-day technical and content development maintenance of the aspects of the company's website. I ensured the company's website actively and effectively supported the company's commitment to dissemination by providing rich current and medical source of knowledge about the field.

I have worked within the team environment. I was also responsible for ensuring the companies was up to date with content updated daily. To explore and develop opportunities for content and future development to ensure the content was rich and diverse and met the needs of medical professionals and patients.

I was responsible for the development and maintenance of the intranet site working closely with an IT support officers to ensure that this was updated weekly. I worked closely with the content editor and web developers to provide expert support for the development of future forum aspects of the sites with an attractive element and online polls. I have also used web trends and other reporting mechanisms, producing a monthly report of web stylistics and user analysis for the head of the department. I have regularly liaised with customers with email or phone regarding common queries i.e. "the company only provided a medical source of information and not medical advice.

I have a strong background in the education sector. I am currently working as a Teaching Assistant in a school for the last 5 years. I have worked with teachers and students from various cultural and economic backgrounds. This role has helped me understand the needs of teachers and students alike and the typical facilities available in a school. I am ready to get back into full-time position and the TA's role is only a temporary setup

I have extensive prior experience as a Project Manager / Web Designer in a publishing house. In these roles, I have done a lot of stakeholder management, timely delivery of various projects, preparing schedules, audit management, learning various software tools (and continuously learn new tools as needed) including maintaining the database and using various tools in the Microsoft Office suite.

I am a keen user of various social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube etc.

I can work as a part of a team or in an individual capacity and can manage several priorities at any given time. I have a positive attitude, strong work ethics, and a keen desire to learn and independently and grow within the trust. I possess superb communications skills, and always treat people with respect and according to their individual needs. As a dedicated professional, I fully understand the importance of this role and my aim would be to work as effectively and efficiently as possible.
