ABOUT
Our objective was to develop a brand identity for Bachman Brown that achieved a timeless look and feel, avoiding trends and fads while exuding dedication to bold design that can stand the test of time. First and foremost, we dropped 'design' from the brand name to streamline and modernize the identity, emphasizing a broader scope beyond just design services.
The new brand identity features a sleek, modern logo with bold typography, embodying the firm's values and vision. The monogram design commands attention with its memorable presence, serving as the cornerstone of a dynamic logo system that cleverly manipulates scale, seamlessly integrating both negative and positive space to captivate the viewer's imagination.
Embracing simplicity, a refined black and white color palette forms the foundation, allowing the vibrancy of photography colors to shine through. This choice enhances versatility and ensures the visual identity remains impactful across various mediums and contexts. It symbolizes timeless elegance, aligning with the firm's commitment to avoiding fleeting trends and focusing on enduring design principles.
To complement the simplicity of the color palette, the Proxima Nova typeface was introduced to elevate the overall aesthetic while providing added refinement and sophistication. The typography is clean and modern, with a balance of bold and regular weights. This approach enhances readability and conveys a sense of professionalism and luxury.
Our team created a consistent visual and aesthetic language across all communication platforms, targeting clients, potential clients, vendors, collaborators, and the press. The brand kit and deliverables included: Logo Package, Color Scheme, Typography, Stationery, Collateral, Work Templates (Work Orders, Floor Plans, Invoices, Presentations, etc.), Brand Identity Guidelines, and Website.
