ABOUT

I am delighted to present my collaboration with the esteemed artist Goldie for Street Stories in Wolverhampton. This project, situated at the heart of Wolverhampton city centre, aimed to invigorate the local high street with the vibrant works of local artists.

I had the privilege to combine Goldie's iconic graffiti style with my own portrait of the artist.

The idea aims to enhance the visual appeal of vacant storefronts throughout the city centre by featuring expansive artwork installations. For my project, I aimed to create a portrait of a prominent figure or celebrity from Wolverhampton, intending to inspire future generations. I decided to select Goldie, as he holds a significant influence within the Wolverhampton community. He is renowned for his contributions to Drum and Bass music and graffiti art. My objective was to depict his image in my portrait, focusing on his renowned golden teeth and his jewellery. This is one area of my illustrations that I particularly enjoy. Arch Creative added an interactive Augmented Reality element will take these artworks to the next level. Through a free smartphone app, users can unlock immersive, multi-sensory experiences where the artwork comes alive, creating an engaging encounter for viewers.

Furthermore, the integration of augmented reality (AR) technology enhances the viewer's experience, adding an interactive dimension to the artwork. This innovative approach reflects my commitment to exploring new techniques and pushing the boundaries of digital art.

This piece of work is featured on BBC News Website and Express and Star.
