Monabanq’s tagline: “People before money”.
To accompany the onscreen images, which were shaped with modeling clay, we imagined a simple musical production:
The entire visual and musical identity of MONA would be done “à la MANO”. By hand !
Since the bank is close to the people, we chose to record acoustic instruments, placing them as closely as possible to the microphones, but REALLY VERY, VERY CLOSE.
Next: “PEOPLE before money”. We need voices!
We repeated to ourselves: Mona, MoNa, MO-NA, mO-nA… Oh-Ah! Simple, understandable and perfectly memorable.
This “Oh” and “Ah” answers the big questions that MONA asks the listener:
"How much money does it take to be considered rich?"
"Why would calling someone RICH, be an insult?"
The narrator questions, the musical score answers:
Oh ! "I had the same question!"
Ah ! "I was just saying the same thing!"
