About me
I am a copywriter with many years' experience working in major London advertising agencies across a full range of digital and traditional media. I am passionate about the written word and am comfortable writing any length of copy - from the sharpest headlines (and even an award winning wordless poster for Peugeot) to brochures and websites that run to thousands of words. I also have a proven track record in generating distinctive, original ideas.
Until recently (December 2012)I was a Senior Copywriter at leading integrated agency gyro London. In four-and-a-half busy and highly productive years at gyro, I worked on most of the agency's main accounts. Typically facing tight deadlines, I was tasked with producing highly impactful, effective copy and ideas across a huge range of assets. This gave me, in particular, the chance to add massively to my experience of writing for digital channels - from emails and online banners to websites and blogs.
If you're after clear thinking and smart writing, I am currently available on a freelance basis and will be delighted to assist. Meanwhile, I would also certainly be prepared to consider the right permanent post should it arise.

Sector Experience
Working at gyro London over the last four years, I have gained a wealth of additional experience in the technology sector - particularly through working extensively on the HP commercial printing account., I have also regularly been involved with producing a range of digital comms for Virgin Atlantic Airways' customer loyalty programme, Flying Club. These customer-facing communications have always demanded the distinctively quirky, witty and irreverent tone that characterises the Virgin brand., Prior to gyro, I can point to wide experience across many advertising sectors. Most especially I have worked with automotive, financial and retail clients.
